Arwise Technology services have worked in several vertical markets and technology sectors. Below are some case studies illuminating some of our work. To disclose the specific client names that we work with seems somewhat counter-productive especially in view of client privacy and network security issues. Accounting firm– Multiple location connectivity

Objective
Our client’s business has been experiencing a long-standing period of growth and has consequently seen a significant increase in staff numbers. As a result, sales staff utilising the ‘hot desk’ facility were finding it increasingly difficult to find vacant working areas with network connections, as desk space was becoming limited. Overall productivity within the business was noticeably affected and a solution was required to resolve the issues surrounding the sales team’s need for network connectivity whilst also considering the limitations of the desk space still available.

Solution
A wireless solution was found to meet the needs of the project objectives by offering secure onsite network access to authorized users whilst lifting the user location restrictions imposed by a wired network infrastructure. Arwise carried out a full site survey to ensure that the business premises would be suitable for wireless network communication and also to determine the most critical positioning for the access point ensuring maximum utilization for wireless enabled users. The site survey also ensured that the solution could successfully be deployed in real-time on the live network without the need for downtime.

Engineering – Outsourced IT from design to operations

Objective
Our Engineering client engaged Arwise in 2004 to design and implement a network solution for their new premises because of the specialist knowledge Arwise possessed in that industry, having previously worked with them on other projects. Arwise's appreciation of the business model and experience were a key factor in the decision to select Arwise to design and implement a new network

Solution
The solution included File and Print and Mail servers with storage and backup facilities, wired and wireless networking capabilities and a secure remote access system. With Arwise’s experience we were able to propose a Managed Support Contract to meet their ongoing support needs. While containing all elements of the typical support contract such as a dedicated Help Desk for incident logging and Service Level Agreement (SLA) with guaranteed response times Arwise also provided several First Line support services within the contract
